November, 2005 Under the Patronage of H.H. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister
of Economy and Planning of The United Arab Emirates.

The role of the Executive Committee is to provide strategic and technical
guidance to Interstandards, reflecting different stakeholder perspectives.
The Executive Committee does not have any direct authority regarding changing
the Private Specifications, but its input is critical to the ongoing enhancement
of the Private Specifications and the future of Interstandards.

Standards organizational structure?
Interstandards is headed by Managing Director who runs the business operations,
it also consists of the Executive Committee to provide strategic and technical
guidance, a technical working group to evolve the Private Specifications,
and a marketing group for ongoing marketing activities. A General Manager
who oversees the day-to-day operations.
