Interstandards – The Arab Organization for Internet Standards is a pioneering Arab Initiative launched with the mission of accelerating the development of the Internet industry by developing, in association with the British Standards Institution (BSI), a set of websites’ quality standards which are applicable to all types of websites.
Interstandards quality standards cover the following areas: website design, website security, website engineering, website content and website advertising.
The standards are structured via a clear Websites Quality Certification Program in which the participating websites that conform to the standards will be awarded Interstandards quality certificate.
Interstandards is leveraged through a strategic partnership with Dubai Internet City who will carry it out to market as a joint initiative, and eHosting DataFort who will provide technical expertise and solutions to the standards building process.
